Big T up for 24 hours

All,
Just a head's up on the Big Thompson River. We'll be passing some of the run-off flows coming into Lake Estes straight to the Big T River.

Around midnight tonight (6/20), releases from Olympus Dam to the Big T will pop up to around 350 cfs. That release will run for about 24 hours. Late during the night of 6/21, we'll bring the releases back down to the normal 125 cfs.

The bump up tonight will put about 475 cfs by Drake for tomorrow. I don't know how that is for kayaking, but thought y'all might want to know in case you need to plan ahead for tomorrow afternoon.

Best,
Kara

why not release during the day only so that the water isn't wasted at night?
