Big Sur

I'm thinking of heading out to Colorado soon. What is the range for Big Sur to be in?

Woohoo!

Big Sur is 20k and up. Bring a long boat or surf the second wave on River right. 27k was the flow when all the footage from 1997 was filmed that was epic. It is pretty flat.

Long boat? I have a creek boat. I was planning on bringing a med. Burn and a playboat. If I'm reading it right it's at 25k right now, correct? Have you surfed it?
Thanks for any beta~
Amy

No you want the Cameo gauge it is 20,200. Burn might be good. I have fond memories of back surfing an RPM for a good 10 minutes at 20k.

Hah- RPM it's a classic. Thanks for the gauge info. I'll keep watching it. I keep hearing rumors it may come in this year. If it does, I have to be there.
