Thanks Fred,

BTW, I enjoyed your promotional piece.
(I realize the goal of the piece and the target audience)

I think its great that rather than focusing on traditional sports or wasting your time with superficial activities you are paddling at a young age and learning how to combine your interest in film with your passion for paddling.

Being a whitewater filmmaker is a thankless endeavor really but the reason to do it is because you love it. Accepting valid feedback is important but don't take it personally, keep following your dreams my friend and seeing the world. We need talented young people like you to transform our culture and save our rivers.

Nice job on the video, very well done. There are no substitutions for good clean edits. Way to include a couple of hole rides too, beatdowns and hole rides are a HUGE part of kayaking yet no one wants to include them in their projects! I personally think that surviving a beatdown (especially when you stay in your boat!) is impressive footage. Anyways, great job. peace.

thanks ride on, beatdowns make for real good footage indeed. You will find plenty of them in 'LiL'. Check the 'BLUR' link at www.creativeUV.com for a sweet ass kicking in Tunnel Falls (towards the end) and a few swims out of Double Trouble.

Coming from a non-kayaker, WoW!! Very cool stuff for sure.

My favorite parts are the mystery moves (yay I learned a new term) and watching what appeared to be a guy getting his head beat by rocks as he goes down, the "beatdown" one I guess it is (good thing for helmets eh?). Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
