Beware the dam in an inflatable. It's just above tunnel 1

Tunnel 1 is closest to town, right ? So putting in below that tunnel is mostly III/III+ ?

It is all roadside so just take a look at it, the run is too low right now it gets good once it hits 700-800 and up at that level it is fun 4-4+, the dam is just upstream of tunnel 1 and is a good takeout.

Below the tunnel is mellow class 3. Above the tunnel its a step harder, and Joe is right, the old broken down damn would be hell in a ducky. In all reality there is enough rebar in that thing that you would probably blow a hole in your rig anyway. Just make sure you know your portage eddy.

I would be into running that with you at some point when CC is above say 600. especially as an after work rally from the county.

It's low right now, but not too low to boat. I think it gets good above 400. Mostly III with a couple IVish rapids you may want to look at on the way up. The first is clearly visible from the road just above the tunnel (Screaming 1/4 Mile). The second is not visible from the road and is a mile or two above the first (Elbow Falls). Below the dam is some III+ boogie and a couple small drops.

Gets good at 700-800? Jeeze TJ do you only boat 2 weeks a year?

Most of the rocks are covered at 300 so I would wait until then but I've ran it at 175...I even had to paddle around a rock to avoid them versus waiting until its high enough to just float anywhere

Below the dam has a little III boogie water, with one solid III drop, but below the tunnel is all II, with one II+. For the IK, I'd wait for 300+ cfm for Rigor down, but in a hard kayak I run it down to 180. Definitely scout the portage eddy for the dam; you don't want to miss it, but it's not hard to catch if you know where it is.
