Howdy, my friend needs to ship his kayak from Toronto Canada to Denver or Fort Collins. A while back i recall a post that someone had used a GROUND service that was not only dependable, but very reasonable. Can anyone out there help me out with the name of a company? thanks, scotty

I was able to ship a boat from Arkansas to Montana on DHL a few years back for $57. It took about week. It was a fairly small boat (Dagger Juice 6.9). That boat was just below their limit (length+width+height).

ForwardAir has a terminal in Minneapolis and Denver. I think their prices are fairly resonable if your buddy isn't in a rush.
