Ben & Jessie win Adventurer of the Year from Nat Geo!!!

Ben Stooksberry and Jessie Coombs of "No big Names" just received the award as Adventurers of the Year from National Geographic !!!! Last night was the awards dinner in Wash DC and as you can imagine they are pretty stoked. You might have heard that they joined Team Jackson Kayak this last summer and to say the least we are very proud to have them on board.

To add, Ben, Jessie, EJ, Nick, Rafa, Phil and Eric Seymoure all just completed the first D of the Alceseca River from Altatonga to Tomata Bridge in Veracruz, Mexico this last weekend. This first D completes Chapter 1 of the new "Hotel Charley, River of Doubt" video and stars our best talent from the team. The movie will be out this next Spring. Very cool indeed. In the trailer provided, you will see the MEGA Rocker in action. It's totally redesigned from last years Rocker design and beefy as it gets.

Outside Magazine was there on the trip as well to cover the Mexico expedition and will feature an article on it in the coming months.

Thats super cool! Its nice to see some recognition to the incredible exploration that paddlers are doing all over the globe. The No Big Names guys rock, and the videos are some of my favorites. With this kind of interest and EJ bringing them on the team and running rivers with them in the new video, No Big Names might be a name of the past...

Congrats!

Nice trailer, seems like these boys are still gettin it done! Its also nice to see Eric Seymour back for some more huckin'.

It seems fitting that these guys won the Natl Geographic award with all that they've done over the years. Congrats!
