Beginner/Intermediate Boat

Hey beginners, I just noticed this boat in the swap: Pyranha S6 200. This is an admittedly old-school play boat, but is purely awesome for down-river play for a 175-200 lb paddler. Fair price too at $250. Former me would have picked this up in a heartbeat!

Why do I love this boat so much?

It's faster than a modern playboat, which is good for down-river confidence.
It surfs like a machine.
It's a rockered little monster and boofs quite well.
Low volume stern/bow initiates cartwheels very easily.
Low volume stern teaches you to keep aggressive forward paddling position or else, bitch-slap!
Rolls easy.

Where should you paddle this dream?
Ark baby! This is a down-river play machine. Wow your friends by splatting endo rock at high flows!

And no, I'm not the seller, I just have love for the S-6. She's like that hig hschool girlfriend that you tried all sorts of weird shit with. It was award and sloppy, but she was totally into it! That's the S-6. A dirty little girl that loves to have fun.

Dirty Girl

HAHA! Awesome. My boyfriend has an S6x. It is a good boat, but I must say I'm still faster in my little G-force.
The really funny thing about this add is that his S6 is red AND he has a Seven2 paddle (also a fine piece of old school equipment)!

My S6 was way into role play. I guess every girl is different.

Oh Snap

Oh Snap.

It is a good deal on a boat I'll give you that.

Still don't think most ACA instructors would run out and stock there school boats with S6s.

Good deal on a nimble play boat it is. Could be less than favorable for a beginner, looking for a boat that will shed water for them, has forgiving edges, and will resurface quickly for them.

I'm not gonna give up that easy.

One thing my S6 loved was to have hot plastic dripped on her tail.

See, those little bat-wing things always hit bottom at Golden when cartwheeling (only trick I know), so she'd start taking on water. You know, gettin' all wet. I'd be like, easy baby, time to lay you down next to the heat gun with a few strips of plastic. Man she squirmed.

Best beginner/intermediate boat ever. I stand by my word.

You are totally making me feel insecure. Now I'm fairly certain that my boyfriend is having a love affair with his S6x. He probably loves his kayak more than me! I guess I don't blame him... She is, after all, into "aggressive freestyle." That's gotta be pretty exciting...

I guess you can spin it anyway you want. An S6 for 250 is a solid deal. Id much rather begin in a jackson fun or star series. Hell even the WS EZ series would be an appropriate beginner boat. Good luck. Enjoyed your pitch none-the-less.
