There's another thread now in trip planner looking for beginners. I'm a beginner myself just starting to get into class III. What's your schedule like? I'm planning on doing either something on the south platte (deckers and/or foxton) or pumphouse or shoshone on the colorado on the 4th. Deckers and pumphouse would both be great beginner runs. What's your experience level?

Hey-
Saw that you were from C. Springs. There's a great whitewater club there as well:
Pikes Peak Whitewater Kayak Club

Lots of trips, instruction weekends, pool sessions in winter, and great people all around.

PM me, I have mornings off and would be down for helping out some beginners on something like Waterton and Foxton.

I second what CKS said....Pikes Peak is a great club....my buddy got his roll in no time in that club and developed quickly.
