Bear Creek 2015

I finally got off my butt and edited some footage from last May. The quality turned to shit when I uploaded it to youtube, but it still gets the job done.

See the attachment for a better picture?

manktastic. You mislabeled No Scout Falls. No Scout Falls is the one above it with the obnoxious bridge - named such because you tend to get greeted with a rifle by the landowner if you scout there (making it all the more unfortunate that it tends to clog with wood). I don't know what you call that one - I just call it splitter rock. You can scout it easily, your guides are just dicks.

So No Scout Falls is Hobbit Hole? The willows and manky drops are so continuous that I think I need to boat that section another five or six times to get it all straight in my head. Besides, scouting's way overrated.

Yeah, No Scout Falls = Hobbit Hole. Latter name is catchier so seems to have stuck. The willows are way better than they used to be pre-flood. Just gotta run it >600 and the mank finally goes away.
Agree, would be nice to clean up the dam. Hope it runs again this year.

I can help with log removal. I don't have any actual tools - saw, etc - but I'm happy to lend a hand if anyone is feeling motivated.

Def need to get the wood out. We need a big spring cleaning crew on a warm weekend before gore starts running. I'm in for clean up.

Bear creek 2016! Viva la mank.
