I just attended the funeral of a friends 19 year old son. I am an adrenaline addict, and also just found out that I'll be having my third child latter this year. If you have people that count on you, buy life insurance. Buy enough to pay off your house and give your partner time to recover if you have a mishap. It cost me less than the cost of a boat / year to know that if i make a mistake, my kids will at least have the financial support they need. I'm tired of going to funerals and seeing people who are totally screwed by my friends making mistakes and then not having the forthought to do this.
Sorry for the downer thread, but it's important and if you boat, your probably going to experience the same at some point.
