Anyone know what the water levels are doing right now in BC? Has the Ashlu come down enough to run?

Comments...Inputs...very much appreciated.

http://scitech.pyr.ec.gc.ca/waterweb/formnav.asp?lang=0 is the link to bc gages. no gage on the ashlu. elaho is the indicator for most of the sea to sky stuff, & its at 200 cms which is ¨normal¨summer high-ish. you´ll see the outrageous spike. there´s still a big snowpack.

tailor your trip to when the MOST options are open. you can always run the triple crown stuff (callaghan, cheak, soo), high or low .. all in one day. high is obviously better (to a degree), but you don´t want to just plan on those cuz you´ll get bored. for the ashlu, there´s like 7 different runs, most of which are not accessible due to avy debris on the road. bummer cuz the upper ashlu is killer. the box & the bottom mile are too high now. that leaves you the mine run, which is runnable high or low & is good, but not as good as the box. tatlow is too high now (& requires a long hike due to road closure), rogers is probably too high too, but may be close. if rogers is in, then snowcap & tretheway should be do-able. lower ryan will be in, but upper way too high. upper birk maybe. fear canyon on the elaho is good high .. scary. big silver should be dropping into the zone soon. there´s other stuff in the lower fraser that´s prolly in.

late august should be good.
