Bailey flows?

I was wondering what the consensus is on the flows in Bailey right now. gauge is reading 320, but folks seem to be saying there is more flow in there than that. we're thinking of hitting it friday or saturday and are hoping there will be more than 320 in it.

any opinions?

I never trust that Bailey gauge. Take a look at the USGS gauges in tan below the Phlows page- the gauge at NF South Platte above Pine

That gauge better represents the flow:

Plenty fun at 400- Today it's not far off the Grant gauge, but earlier in the week the discrepancy was more like 100cfs. Weird.

Gauge:
06706400 N.F. SOUTH PLATTE RIVER ABV ELK CR AT PINE, CO

The gauge above is another indicator. It's at the bottom of the run. Most of this season it's been about 150 CFS higher than the Bailey/Grant gauges and all the tribs on the way down the Bailey stretch were dry and not contributing. I think it's been more accurate this year, but what do I know.

Hard for me to tell the difference between 670 and 800, which is what it was running for a solid month earlier this summer!

BTW, Foxton at 500 is a fun play run, too.

Have fun!

Edit: Oops! I see Flaco said the same thing above. Oh well.
