From Raftzone: http://boatertalk.com/forum.php?forumid=RaftZone

From the Blue Ridge News Observer 7/12/05.

'A Benton rafting guide drown in a mishap during a rafting trip on the upper Ocoee River Saturday.

Richard Stanley Guy, 23, was leading a trip for Sunburt Adventures, Inc. of Benton....
... after the trip started down the upper Ocoee, one of the rafts became pinned on Alien Ridge, above the Ocoee Whitewater Center.

As trip leader, Guy steered his own boat upriver of the stranded boat, then dove into the river and swam for the pinned raft. About the time Guy reached the stranded raft, he submerged...
... the cause of the drowning was body entrapment...'
