Well fair to say that the Ark is goin off right now... Granite is super fun, the dam goes, and Piney is flushin... World class surfin from #1 to town and there are 3 great spots here in town.. The third or bottom hole came in at high flows and is great.... Storm door is still giving great rides and Browns is actually fun at this level...

Upper Lake and Clear Creek are some of the best easily boatable class V anywhere in Colorado... If a compentent boater/crew needs a gude for upper lake pm me I can make it out just about any night..

This week the high flows will continue... If you have not been able to get up to northern Chaffee county come up - this year it is worth it!!

Agreed! The ark is pumping from top to bottom. Did royal gorge at 4200 sat. Good fun! Commercials have been cut off above 3200, so you have the river to yourself. Very nice!

Did a look back at historical peaks, and the water hasn't been this high at parkdale since 97.

11 years... I guess it has been that long...

Who knows maybe we will get luckey and have a few of these high water years in a row here..

So who is boatin tonight??? We are going to do piney and the #'s or upper lake... So many choices that the decision is hard these days ...

The summer of 08 is shapin up to be one for the ages here on the ARK!!

Best season in a long time! R2ed Browns on Sunday and it was actually pretty easy, but no place to screw up. That is the thing about big water, not too hard if you are up for it mentally but the consequences for the in-experienced is pretty high.
