I believe this'll most likely be the first run down val this year. It should be a good level to go in and see what's new. Judging from the gage it should be around 2.8 by this afternoon.

What reservoir upstream? Yeah that must be some kind of hair run below Vallecito Res to Bayfield, eh? Only kidding.

For someone that is not up to running the box canyon section yet, is there any beta on the run from the campground to the reservoir? Looks like it might make for some fun at a Class III to IV level. I live 15 min away, so I would love to hit it sometime. Also, any beta on the upper Los Pinos (Pine River)?

upper Los Pinos rivers requires about a 8 mile hike in just to get to the class three. It's pretty much just a really long hike for some very scenic flatwater. The lower part of the Pinos from the forrest service trailhead to the reservoir has some good class four. You pretty much have to tresspass to get in though and the land owners definitly don't want you in there.
Just kidding about the vallecito res., I met to say 1.8 instead of 2.8.
