Anyone have late beta on Montrose River Sports Park?

Searched but didn't see any *new* news on the creation of the proposed River Sports Park down in Baldridge. According to THE WATCH edition of 6/13 - 1/19/2013 GOCO has approved the project for funding and the cash match from other agencies looks positive. Is this the case? Have all committed the funds? If so, what's the next step? RFP?

Thanks. We appreciate any current beta.

Hearing a few rumors. Everything from excitement an planning to the area having been already allocated to a Trout Unlimited grant so they have to find someplace else.

It won't do anything. They're 2 completely unrelated things.

My sources say it a go and looks like completion in 2015. The plan looks promising, just wish we the boaters had a say in what we want it to look like. All I have to say is that it better have some better waves than ridgeway's.
