Just did Ruby on Saturday when running 37,000 cfs. It was moving pretty fast and everything was flat. Camping was limited. Rattlesnake and Cottonwood site markers were in the water or under water. You have to hike up and through the opening to get to the site. Salt Creek was very accessible. Mee was pretty good too but high. +1 on Black Rocks being interesting. Run left of first rock in middle of river. Not much of the rocks showing. Huge whirlpools dropping maybe 2-3 feet. Crazy but very runnalbe and fun. Camping at Blackrocks is doable in the lowe sites. Enjoy!
We were on the river for 5 hours including a stop for lunch at Mee. Today State Line was at 45,000. Didn't float but just to give you an idea of camping as your original post stated, the river is pretty high. Many areas are flooded between GJ and Loma along the river corridor. Camping will be tight but still doable in locations that are located along higher flats.
