Animas flows

Any guesses on Animas flows the last week of June? Three of us are thinking of doing it for the first time but none of us know the basin at all. Looking at the Upper Animas run from Silverton. Thanks!

Well, its melting fast and nuking right now, but supposed to get cooler and rain a lot this weekend. I would guess, and its only a guess, low but runnable. 500-1000 out of Silverton is low but OK- a nice wilderness Class 3-4 trip. I would highly suggest an overnighter at that level, as it is a pretty long day otherwise, and a great area to camp in. You would probably have better flows a week earlier. I would not recommend going if it is under 500 at Silverton.
