Adios Big South...

Long draw flow is down to 150cfs, and they are planning on cutting it back to 125cfs around friday, and its likely on the trend down from there. She's done for the season.

It certainly was good while it lasted. Had a couple of great runs on the big south this season, including a monster crew rally this past weekend. Fun times!

Also, Derk died on the big south a year ago on 7/18/2009. RIP Derk. Weird mix of emotions at bouncing betty, kind of haunting looking down at that rock. I used to always run it, but walked this year. Best wishes to those Derk left behind, and to the boating brothers who bear the weight of being there that day.

Signing off til next season on the big south flow updates.

Big Thanks to Jim with the Water Supply Co. for the updates!
