I posted on the Buzz back in May about a trip down the Colorado river. Our goal was to learn the story of the river by floating the entire thing and to share that story with others.
We just finished stage one of the trip from Rocky Mountain National Park to Lake Powell. Approximately 500 miles of river. We went into the trip thinking that we knew a lot about the river. We had paddled many sections of it before and done a lot of "homework." But floating the river gave us a different perspective as we spoke with stakeholders and experienced every bend of the river. Even those crappy parts that we never thought we would want to see turned out to be beautiful. And Fragile. Over the next few weeks we will be releasing articles, photos, and videos that show what we learned.

Stage two begins in late August as we travel across Powell in time to make our August 25th Grand permit! Feel free to give any advice, voice opinions, flame, or ask questions! The biggest help you can give us (and hopefully give the river) is to share these links around with friends and family to spread the stoke about the Colorado!
