The start line is the river left eddy at the bottom of the stairs above Pineview. (Not the rock gauge eddy.)

DF, if you want to challenge in an oar rig, bring some friends with oar rigs. Like craft compete against like craft.

Safety first!

Dave - if you race I might race too....and I bet Pearen would be up for it, although his cat is way faster than our rafts - but we could tie a sea anchor to it to make it fair...

What about Charity do you not understand?

First an apology to all of those wonderful kayakers and spectators and fun people who showed up for the PV Challenge. We were shut down.

Apparently, A Poudre Park residing, commercial raft company owning, party decided that charity does not belong in their back yard. Well, we were still able to raise some money for First Descents in spite of the ill wishing individuals.

Thanks to the folks at Columbine and Jamie, Becky, Andrew, etc at Poudre River Kayak for making us feel welcome.

This does nothing for the commercial/private boater relations on the Poudre River. Damn kitten killers have nothing better to do with their time than harass private boaters trying to raise money for a charity. Get a life!
