2012 Olympics - Canoe/Kayak

The Olympics are right around the corner! I will be headed over to London to work the announcing booth for NBC for Whitewater Slalom and Flatwater Sprint. I donít have any TV listing times yet; but for folks who are interested, here is some useful information in the meantime:

Schedule:
Olympic Event Schedules & Results | NBC Olympics

NBC Canoe/Kayak homepage:
Olympic Canoe & Kayak Video, Results, Schedules, TV | NBC Olympics

NBC Online Coverage info:
Get Ready For Live Extra - Watch The 2012 Summer Olympics Live Online | NBC Olympics

I will try to post updates along the way. Hopefully everyone can tune in and watch what should be some great racing.

I have heard tell that all the events will be available online both live and archived. If anyone has info on that let me know since kayaking is usually slated for the very reasonable hour of 3am for re-broadcast.

So, it looks like NBCOlympics.com is going to stream every minute of every event of every sport live, so we will have unprecedented coverage of whitewater in London. I think that only events that will be broadcast Live on the network coverage are going to have commentary (c-1 and c-2 finals).

Opening Ceremonies tonight!

Eric, awesome!

It doesn't look like they are broadcasting any of the Freestyle Exhibition, which, I'm to understand, is on the 29th, 30th and 31st. Eric, any info on that?
