Once again, you are welcome to join. As for the "possibly less than experienced" that you mentioned, this would not be their trip until the level goes down to a more predictable one. Much love to all, but with the water as it is, now is not the time for tomfoolery with folks new to the sport.
Most likely, Joel is actually in the footage posted above (Jim's son, that is). We are not looking at partaking in death at any point in time soon, so a death wish is simply not an option. When the level comes down to a more reasonable one, the other two you mentioned should get some practice in many of the other available places.
Oh, as for the body harness, here is how this works: We put the person in it who is handling the throwbag. That way, when the key person makes a connection, they don't get 'yanked' in the river... get it.. brilliant!!
Stacie, please join us and we will be happy to see you. Chris Lions is going too, so now we are at 5... not sure what it means to the logistics. Will have to go to the shop in the morning and check the gear to see what in the world we have available. No problem for you. I'll be adding extra D-rings just for rigging..... I will call you tomorrow (Wed). Leave the 14 footer for another day at barrel ( I would love to go on a Carnage run with you all yippee) and hop in one of ours. Jim is right, we choose not to hurt ourselves or others around us and intend to keep it that way.
Check the post for the 3900cfs run... maybe they'll put on pics or footage to get an idea..

Can't wait.
Call me and see you Friday evening....
Dirk
