Where: The Gore Canyon Race and Whitewater Cup

When: August 19, 2006
Gore 2006 is looking to be an excellent year. The downriver race will take place the third Saturday in August, as it has for the past 17 years. As everyone who has competed knows, Gore Canyon is one of the premier runs in Colorado, and usually goes off when most other rivers have stopped flowing.
One of the reasons for the continued success of this race is the volunteers who help organize the start, the finish and everything in between! We are looking for 19 people to help out in the following capacities:
Start (need 2)
Finish (need 4)
Bus loading and parking control (need 4)
Registration/Results (need 5)
Expo supervision (need 1)
Put in access management (need 2)
Railway Security (need 5)
Raft Ferry (need 4)
Camp staff/volunteer support (need 2)
Start line and railway security volunteers should be Class 5 kayakers; Raft Ferry volunteers should be Class 5 boaters.
