I had a low side of good run on Joe Wright Creek on Sunday (6/7); other than a ugly and bony looking Cornholio everything paddled well and fun. I was back in the area today and from the highway spotted a log completely blocking the bottom move in Carnito Canyon which apparently deposited in the last two days. Time, weather and side of the river constraints prevented any removal attempts. If considering running Carnito definitely scout, and it appears that it will take some work, probably from river left, to remove and return the rapid to runnable status.
