If you can get to Gypsum Valley Friday night and launch there is a great camp at 65.5 on river left but it will probably be taken but you never know. To answer you question about how many hours, it's 35 miles total so probably 10-12 hours, if you get the 2000cfs they are talking about it will easy peazy, the hard part will be finding a camp with all the people, Start early and get to camp early is the golden rule, maybe we will see you down there although I won't be there until May 11. Enjoy

Suz if the weather cooperates I would say go for it. A buddy and I did it in 2011 on 1200cfs, we launched Thursday late afternoon from Gypsum Valley into a 40 mph head wind and made it 3 miles before we found a tiny beach on the lea ward side of a big Tamrisk and hunkered down for the night. The next day was nice and we made it down to mile 84 in the Devries guide and caught up with some friends who were at a big camp on the inside of the bend there. That was a 20 mile day, he was in a lightly loaded 16 Hyside raft and I was in my duckie and don't remember anything but a beautiful float with current. the next day was was 13 miles and we kept going after our friends took out at Bedrock and made it another 13 miles and camped at a nice spot below the flume.
