    oh and I first learned to guide in 08-09. now I just have a small raft and a few IK's and like to get out on privately!

    I first learned to guide in TN on the Big Pigeon River. PAddled the New and Gauley a fair amount. Moved to Colorado. Guided in Aspen and Buena Vista on the Arkansas, Colorado, Roaring Fork Rivers. Thanks for the info on Dolores. im gonna dig more and try to start planning a trip! all the best man, Happy Paddling!

    Hey Schutzie! Looking for info or even better a paddling partner for the Dolores!!! I have never been. Live in Carbondale. Used to guide on a class 4 river. lots of class III+ guiding, paddled some 5s like gore and gauley. and def looking for a step or two down from that!!! lol. what is the best day trip option on the Dolores? it looks gorgeous! and I just came across your post ranking it as the number 1 trip! :) im reading up on the Dolores in Colorado rivers and creeks now. but would love some other first hand knowledge.
