I ditched Teva because every pair I had previously, the sole had to detach. I had to look for an alternative. I came to know Chaco and read how good it is, the shop even told me his customer had used a pair of Chaco for 10 years. I was sold. After using for about 1.5 years, the sole detached last week just like Teva. I was disappointed. The whole sole came off without any sign or warning. It happened during a kayaking trip. I am looking for a replacement, and I still like Chaco very much because it is very well built, but at the same time I am a little hesitant, I am afraid my next pair of Chaco will have the same problem when I do my kayak. Isn't Chaco made for water sports and the sole should not pop?
