Hello, I'm currently looking at buying a Thrillseeker IK and from perusing the forums I see you went through this process of a few years ago. *If you don't mind, can I ask you a few questions about your boat and how you settled on your final config\build?

    Thanks,Chris

    Dave,
I'm not sure why I never saw this message from March of this year but today was the first time.

Finding reliable/official information concerning El Vado releases remains one of my black holes. I can't find any spot that works or even has any information.

Howdy, yes I did indeed buy a new cat frame. I'm extremely pleased with my experience with gary at rowframe.com. He was timely with call backs and email, and has lots of knowledge concerning smaller cats. Most importantly however was the affordability of the frame I purchased, the frame is billed on his site as the "$350 cat frame". I got narrow yokes labeled the paddle cat yokes on the website. The tower are very nice and a big improvement over what I had before. Here's the only pic I have currently.

Tim Eubanks here. Wondering about tent stakes, etc. What kind of stake do you use for a self-supported tent on sandy campsites?
    Thanks
Looking forward to your trip report as we drive out

Okieboater, she brought home the mountain hardware Lightpath. It's a three man. She thinks it's the preferred tent for our december grandcanyon trip. I intend to take my bibler and thats final. I will put my foot down.
