Finally made it up to Cottonwood on Sunday. I thought the stuff behind my house on Tennesse Pass was good, but the amount of terrain is crazy up there! Lines, climbs, and bowls - endless. Definitely been a lot of traffic since the last snow but that allowed us to push to deep into the drainages though. Lot of sketchy places as far as avi potential, you definitely have to be aware of the surroundings/clues (and watch for rocks taking out an A-arm). Can't say I have been anywhere else that compares in magnitude/access in the state.
Any idea when those big slab slides happened on the east side of the divide and south of the pass? Assuming last big storm. Chunks the size of tiny cars in a few spots.
