    Hi Chip -

Sorry to bother you without an introduction in any of the forums. I'm drooling over your Cutthroat setup here.

Wondering if you special ordered from Jack the 3 D-rings and whether you have any dimensions for your frame? It's exactly what I'm looking for, I think Jack's frame sits a little low and I prefer to be in a chair than the blowup seat setup in his version. So did you just order the tubes from Jack and make your frame? Or do you think Jack's wider frame would work and just add a seat?

Essentially I'm looking for a cat to row and stay in shape on the East Coast but that I could also take west (just got back from the Middle Fork, would have been great). Any thoughts you have would be appreciated!

    cheers
    John

    Hello Chip.

I was just browsing info about the North Platte. I am new to the Northern Colorado area just moving here from Oregon. I am looking for some good multi night trips. I have been reading about the North Platte and have done some scouting to just get a feel for the area. I am confused about how you go about doing a multi day float if you need to camp in specific areas. What if you pull up and the spots are all taken? Do you just keep on floating into the night? How crowded does the river get during peak season?

I found an old post where you mentioned info about the Platte. Sorry for the random message from a total stranger! ha ha. I am just trying to figure out what my options are.

    Thanks.
