If you haven't sold the Partner Stove while you are in Bolder and your traveling back to Carbondale give me a call 390 1274. I live in Gypsum. We may be able to work something out. David

Hi, sorry didn't see this message until now.

I use a cheapo tripo. Put two legs into the stern bay and one leg on the outside of the stern. I have a throw bag stern rope clipped to the d-ring and the tripod leg goes into the bag.

Then I have two straps holding the tripod down. The one strap goes forward of the stern back tube and the other back. I have d-rings on both front and rear of the stern tube.

The down pressure from the straps keeps the tripod in place. I've broken the tripod on my last trip ( you can actually see it in my last video). So I am going to make a new mount, possibly out of pvc pipe.

Sadly I don't really have any good images to show you my old setup.

Not sure if this is too late or not, but we used 5 gallons from Gypsum to the takeout. We didn't motor in the flatwater above Cataract - the current moves along there so we just rowed.
