Hi, I've been following this feed and I have a question about the canyon dry box that you have referred to. Is this the hard plastic NRS Canyon dry box or a different company. I tried to find Canyon dry boxes by doing a Google search.

i just purchased a new Hyside and need a 36" dry box. Been talking to RecreTec, and Cambridge, and looking around for other manufactures. I would appreciate the full name for Canyon if you have the time. Thanks, Jason

Thanks Avatar. I thought you had done the main fork. The water is lower this year, but the main is much more forgiving than the middle. Have a fun Summer.

Question for you Avatard....I have the Cobra oar locks which i try to protect from getting stolen from my frame. Instead of using those circle pin things I have a stainless steel bolt with a lock nut on the end. I know this set up is structurally sound but to remove the bolt I need 2 tools. From a safety standpoint on the water, do I need to be worried about not having a quick release oar lock? This setup is for fishing but I also enjoy white water (no class 5). I appreciate any input.... Justin

    Avatard,

My name is Ryan Hotchkiss. I normally would not reach out to a poster like this, but I really need to ask the right people for advice before we launch our website this spring, Creeklife.com.

It’s been tough to keep most of my family and friend’s interested because only a few of them are boaters. So, I thought maybe the people that took the time to post on this forum may be willing to take the time to help me.

I am originally from Gunnison, CO and now ‘I am a work from home husband having moved to Costa Rica in 2008. In my spare time, I guide rafts and kayak.

You are one the first group of people I am contacting to help… other than my ‘friends’ and I will incorporate your ideas if they fit w/ the site.

I know I can make something in this world better for ourselves, our rivers and future generations.

Please look for me on the site if you can make it over.

    Thank you,
    Ryan Hotchkiss

Yo Avatard -- is that you in the photo? Probably nobody else rude enough to ask but I did! (grin). Good posts brother.
