Ive been looking at the forcast and all the cold precip is still falling jumped up to 15cfs towards the headwaters and its starting to get antsy so my guess is ill be having my april 12th birthday/easter run on boxelder. fingers crossed. for at least a wood removal run by boat.

I was talkin about the shoshone run, listed in the new testament, not boxelder. Says it turns on April 15. Or is the box and shosho the same and I'm missin something?

no its running year round brother shoshone never stops. it will start kicking up after more headwater flow into the reservoir and they need to keep room. Ed said end of may possibly June. i was confused the 15th date was close to the time everything goes off in this region since its all under 10,000 ft ele. good luck. if you need to split gas and want to get up that way let me know. you drive this far ill go the rest.

flow for us was in the 430 range for after the power plant. so its good to go didn't have to get out of the boat at the seive either.
here's cody kayaking message board you can always ask for the lowdown.

I wouldnt be surprised to see them releasing early this year with the above normal snow pack, usually the 15th is when they start opening the gates tho
