    Thanks man. I was a bit late on the trigger -- that huge rock on the right blocked my view of Utah as he was approaching the drop. I'm gonna try to get it right next time.

    Hopefully I'll have the other pics up on The Rangelife by the a.m.

    The Ashlu is one of the most beautiful & whitewater-rich drainages I've ever visited .. especially if you're into class V. It's also an important ecosystem that is home to old-growth cedar forests, grizzlies, and high alpine ice caps. The fact that it is so close to populated urban areas, makes it easily accessible -- it's located about an hour north of Vancouver, or a half-hour north of Squamish, BC .. easy drive from Seattle.
