Tao running a beast in Mexico. Seems this drop slammed his ass a few years ago. He went back to try again and film it for SJ. Should air in a month or so.

Forgot to add what you can't see. This thing is about 110 feet in total. Not straight vert but rather a stagger style multi drop that all connect. Tao + Nomad = get some.

There was a dagger rep out of durango a few years ago (like 10+) who ran this drop and stuck it. His first name was Brian, anyway, do you by chance have any pics of him dropping it?

Brian Brown. I worked for him for several years. Is this the same drop? If so, yeah B2! I remember him showing me some images but not sure it was the same one.

I was not there so I can't say 100%. I had just got back from a trip there and so did he. One of his group members told me that he had run the drop below the takeout. We talked about it and it sounded like the same one, but again, i'm not 100%. Regardless, when I was starting (14 years ago) Brian was one of the kayaking Kings, dude he ran the Upper Animas at high water and Vallecito, so i'll just keep thinking he ran that drop and keep thinking that he is a totsl badass.

B2 is still paddling down in Durango. As for the drop, it very well could be the same. He is still a great paddler. I ran into him this summer on the Animas and at 4 Corners. He had a van that without a doubt had the largest rack on it I have ever seen. even to this day. I spit my head open on it in Fort Collins and wound up in the ER.
