I know that hand paddles are a really good option for Tony's future of kayaking but if anyone has info or knows someone with only one hand who still uses a paddle lets her it?

I asked Woody the same question and he told me about the hammerhead.

Plus he mentioned an organization called Team River Runner that is working on getting army vets with various injuries into kayaking.

I have a buddy in Taos that lost his arm below the elbow. He rips it up in a kayak. Has a hook that holds the kayak paddle and uses a rubber band thing to keep it attached. I'll get his info to you. The iraq war has been horrendous for our troops, but the upside is that the prosthetic development due to the war has been cutting edge, if there is any upside to that. I think Tony will be able to still rip it up kayaking. My heart goes out to him and his family. Atom...

I was thinking about it and hand paddles could be a good, safe option. A bud of mine hand makes custom kevlar/carbon fiber handpaddles. Im sure he could craft something that would work.
