This site sucks. That being said I paddle as much as possible in the Vail area but this is also my busiest time of year for work. Any free time I have I go and surf or sup the wave in Glenwood and it will be good for a few more days at least. I suggest going there and you will meet sup paddlers and you can work on your skills. As is the case with kayaking, playing in holes etc helps with your downriver paddling tremendously in sup too.
What is that section like? In my head its technical class 3.
