For my ducky on day trips I use the battery powered blower that came with my coleman air mattress. Super cheap even if you buy one ($15) only takes 4 D batteries. It inflates very quickly. Then top it off with my trusty old Wal-Mart pump I found on the side of the road. At the end of the trip turn the valve around and it deflates the ducky just as quick. Don't know if I've ever changed the batteries in it come to think of it...
