Why the hell would you use your dishwasher? Maybe the clothes washer after a pre-rinse. Your river shoes are now worth more than your soon to be ruined dishwasher lol.....

My girlfriend is the one who told me about washing your shoes in the dishwasher. Her old roomates were long distance runners and would always wash their shoes in the dishwasher. Turns out its pretty common practice.

You just have to make sure you turn off the dry heat cycle at the end. Then let them sun dry or I put them on my boot heaters that I use for skiing. Don't knock it until you try it. I suppose the same could be said for double ended dildos....?

People thinking their dishwasher is more important than river gear or dildos???????????? Probably throw out used underwear rather than taint your clothes washing machine.
I used my dishwasher to clean stainless steel gun parts until I bought an ultra sonic cleaner, which probably isn't a good idea for glass sex ware.

Don't they have 5-gallon buckets where you are?

Nothing in the world is more yielding and gentle than water. Yet it has no equal for conquering the resistant and tough. The flexible can overcome the unbending; the soft can overcome the hard. - Lao Tse
