Thanks. Good picture with perspective of the different size rafts with gear. I miss my Hyside 12 footer. That was a fun little boat. Sold it & my cataract to get my Sotar 14. The 14 is perfect for everything I do, but I do miss the little raft sometimes. I still have my 10 ft. Outcast mini-cat, so that fills the need for a little boat for now.

I'd run a 3 or 4 tube cat. Purchase the tubes without the inner baffle to make them cost attractive.

Just ran alberton gorge and a very low water west fork in the RMR 10.5. Very impressed, can't wait to run it down MFS this week. Built a little 3 bay breakdown frame for it, 8' oars, sweet little rig.

Did you decide on a boat yet?

Yo DoubleShadow, did you ever decide on a boat? If so, have you got it on the water yet? If you are still trying to decide, I haven't rowed a SDP, but have rowed SPs, 130D, and 130R, and paddled 143E. I would highly recommend the 130D. I'm an old Airehead, and talked a couple of my friends into buying 130Ds instead of Super Puma's and they love them and are glad they did. They are a little roomier, haul a little more, a bit more stable in larger volume water and don't seem to be too wide.
