Be sure to read up on how to repair rafts, because Costco does not have a raft repair dept. What you save on the product is definitely not made up by customer service at Costco. There is no customer service.

Repairing all kinds of rafts with some interesting techniques.

Keep your boat in good shape- What is the hard duty for a whitewater boat?

Don't stick your foot in too far. They look like an entrapment hazard.

They appeared to be pretty tight, so maybe you can get a decent grip with just your toes under the strap.

Search the Buzz for the "Saturn Rafts POS" thread for more info on the poor SB floor design on Saturn rafts.

Saturn two front chambers blow out

I just had the pleasure of watching a gentleman attempt to repair a 24"+ blowout across the bow of a 14 ft saturn. Both front chambers deflated and only the floor held it from doing a nose dive. We eventually cut is up and hauled it off the MF in the garbage bags.

Under $1000 for a frameless paddle cat is a damn good deal.

Look for a quality brand used raft or cat. I see good rigged boats all the time from 1500 to 2500. You will probably need to buy oars though as most people keep them when switching boats. You will be a lot happier in the long run and you wont be a risk to the people you boat with.
