Recognizing delamination, etc.

I'm in the market for a used first raft, and am encountering some older hypalon boats that look like a good place to start. However, I do worry about my ability to really critically assess the boat's condition, particularly regarding delamination and seam failure, the stuff that sends a boat to the trash bin. I've seen a photo of a delaminating SB floor, and it just looked like a big blister on the I-beam. That seems pretty obvious, but there must be more subtle evidence...anyone have pictures of these sorts of problems or other advice for used boat shoppers?
