I like the rod racks, I've got something similar. Saved a lot of fly rods.

Took the plunge this year and bought a 13' DRE fishing setup, used. I love this boat.

Raft "selfie"

Just upgraded from a 12' Tributary to a 14' Tributary. Double rail frame from Gary at raftframe.com and a Sportrail trailer to haul it. Love the carrying capacity but it sure doesn't maneuver like my 12'. On the positive side, the trailer is bombproof so far even on the dirt roads through Browns Park. Beats my old HF trailer, but it comes at a substantial cost increase.

Sotar 14SL on the Middle Fork. Sept. 6-13. Indian Creek to Cache bar. 1.77 feet. Sunny skies, no rain, a little wind, cool but not cold. Two layover days. Hiking, fishing, napping, reading, playing cards, tall tales & bull shit, dutch oven food. No injuries, mishaps, busted gear, or bad "stuck on a rock" episodes. Great flight in with Middle Fork Aviation. All around awesome trip.

I like the double rail frame, especially with the decks. Its so easy to move around and load/unload. It has taken some getting used to because I am rowing 10' oars now. Possibly a different oarlock might have allowed smaller oars but its not bad, and I like supporting Gary.

Since I don't have a dry box, the wider boat/frame allows me to load 4 rocket boxes in the second bay without them touching the tubes. I have a deck supported by straps that holds them off the floor and a couple straps across the top locks them in.

CRG...Are you free to share what the total trip cost you, how many people/planes to fly in, any logistical issues, limitaions on gear, etc? This would be a good piece of information for anyone planning a future trip like this since it is so up-to-date.

Thanks

John
