Can you tell me what the long big piece of PVC is on the boat behind you in the picture?

The air ride is just so comfortable. Even after 5/6 hrs. It drops out of the way in a flash or makes for a great backrest. Here are some pics. I still need to get my side rails and a few other things dialed in. The boat handled like a dream. The gear did exactly what it was supposed to do. Cooler stayed fridge cold, dry boxes dry etc. In fact the seal on the dry boxes was so good that they were imploded when I got back to Seattle. Had to use 2 rubber mallets to release the seal. They popped right back to shape ( they were about 5/8 inch squeezed) but the gasket got pushed out of place. I called NRS to see what the best option for releasing the glue and resetting the gasket was. I was told they'd get back to me on that. Anybody have any ideas on that? Only bummer to speak of was the yellow jackets. Been down the Main 3 times and never saw anything like that. See vid. One guy got stung 10X!!! 11 of 15 got stung! Some 3 or 4 times. I was one of the lucky 4.
Tell me more about those latch in dry boxes. Do you have more pictures of how that frame works. I'd love to transition to latch-in boxes.

That's a tube for fishing gear. Great to have. He keeps all his rods, reels etc tucked away nice and safe.

Here is our first raft. 2011 NRS Otter 140 (purchased here on the Buzz). Little use with no patches or leaks. Just set the frame on it for the first time and adjusted a few things. We will defiantly be making some changes to the frame if not replacing it completely.

For starters it needs a cross bar in the back. The side rails aren't NRS rails and are dented in where the previous owner had the our towers set up (they are DRE towers). One of the bolt holes in the seat is stripped, so we will either replace the seat at some point or buy a second cross bar and row from the cooler.

The oars shafts are Carlisle and are on the shorter side for the 14' (9' with the blades). I would like to upgrade to Cataract SGG shafts later down the road. The blades are Cataract Magnums.

It came with some other accessories that are not pictured.

I've posted these elsewhere but just realized never on this thread and since I've gotten tons of info from this thread I thought I should share.

Here's my rig on the Grand Ronde in June about 3500 cfs (5.2' @ Troy) Lower Narrows.

and another from above:

15' SL, NRS, Wildgoose, Atomicrider, DIY frankenframe - 100" x72" - 5 bay double rail with fishing trailer. Plywood decks, benches and drop floors (rowers and rear). 10' Sawyer MXFG with Dynelites, 9.5' MXFG's with duramax blades for spares. Coolers Gott 150, Yeti Sherpa 100, DIY wood Drybox. Tempress seats. DIY 9" oar towers and cobra locks. Ebay 8'x72"x54" bimini and DIY sliders. Other than replacing hastily fabed side decks, building another drybox or two and modifying her trailer I think she's good to go!

There's no way I would have thought of all the details without this thread, so I thank everyone that participates in this thread and forum!
