Making progress, slowly. Working on the raft, and rebuilding the trailer I bought a few months back. The winch, I actually got FOR FREE from a guy who didn't need it anymore. I will attach some rollers on the back gate, put new lighting and wiring in, and attach some of the leftover trex decking to the top rails so the raft can sit on that.

Check out this beast!

I saw this mega frame while at the metal scrap/recycle yard. It was just sitting off on the side, like someone had gotten rid of it. I would have liked to gotten the full story. beefy.

A lot of those places will sell that kind of thing for some mark-up above scrap metal. I have friends that check into Pacific Recycling here regularly just for stuff like that. One got a 14' John boat hull for a couple hundred bucks last year...

If that's a recent pic you could always ask!

Wow, by the looks of it, the scrap price would allow you to buy anything you wanted brand new!

bjsconstrux that is almost certainly a snout (22') or J-rig (33' or 37' baloney boat) frame you saw. And it may be at the scrap yard because the frame outlasts the rubber, although you can find new tubes from several manufacturers (including DIB) or unused old ones all over the place...

Great trailer, have you loaded it down yet? Looks like you could get a lot of tongue weight with the axle so far back. Just wondering, I have thought about converting a boat trailer too.
