Here's my raft on Grand Canyon day 22.

Aire 156D, standard aire floor.
NRS 4 bay frame
1st bay- drybox
2nd- cooler
4th- drybox with seat attached.

The red drybag makes a nice backrest.

16' raft

It is a 16'. The benches are 6' long. The first bay is 24" wide and the second bay is 18". It gives a nice overlap for the paco pads. Passengers have plenty of room to enjoy the ride. Whatever I can do to keep the passengers happy....that gives me better support for more river trips (gotta keep mama happy).

Thats a big disadvantage of the Nrs cat yoke setup I cant put my tubes wider than 40" apart, which limits cooler and drybox width (yeti 120 just fits). So i have to go longer 12' frame. My pacos are 78" and they just hang over the edge of the frame top rails.

This gets me stoked.

Big Red

First full boating season for my boat: 15.5' Sotar ST with oversized 22" tubes, AAA custom frame and boxes. Great for trips where you want to bring everything, usually carry a full kitchen, groover and my GF along with her gear
This pic is from the boats maiden voyage 7/10 on the Main Salmon, the only thing I have changed is my table/hatch cover is a custom made (AAA) all aluminum 75" x 20" which fit perfectly over the front drop hatch space. Btw if you don't have an "everything bag" buy one you'll love it.
Very happy with the boat and how it handles

What the hell do you need a map of the MS for? Kidding! Nice boat, but from what i've read from the Buzz--you would've been better off buying a Saturn and using the remaining money to buy your GF a bigger diamond!

What boat did you decide on, and why?

RM rafts!!!! 16' grey. Ill be picking it back up from down river with oars, frame, box, etc today so ill post a few pics. This boat seems to have bomber construction. TONS of D-rings, big D-rings. Full chafe pad on top and sturdy bottom. Cant wait to see how one floats.

And the price is way low for what I feel you get.
