Hopefully this works. I've never posted a pic to comments...

Down River Equipment 1.25" frame with anodized fittings on 15' AIRE Wave Destroyer tubes. 87" long and 38" between the tubes. Mesh floor, cooler and Tbox/table on the way.

Very nice! Maybe one day I'll get a Recretec frame? My rafting buddy has 4 of them (2 rafts, 2 cats) and they rock for being functional. The lock-in dry boxes are the bomb. Plus the frames are really light & break down pretty easy.
Have fun with your new Sotar. Can't wait to get mine in March. Looks like you added some extra D-rings in the stern. So did I. Nice looking co-pilot also. Does the pooch run the river with you?

Nope. Not named Todd. He's had 3 of the 4 frames for about 10 years. A little wear on the powdercoat here and there, but going strong. I think the lock-in boxes are his favorite part of the frames.

Matt, nice looking setup! Hey what the width on the top rail? Also what length oar you using?

I have a friend named Todd, who has several Recretec frames as well I have been rowing his boaters the last few years so I was spoiled.

That was my dog Zac's first voyage he is just 7 mos, but I hope for him to be on most my trips.

Cale -

48 3/4" crossbars (between the inner rails) and 10" between the inner and outer rails.
The math tells me that I could probably get away with 9' oars but I haven't tried anything yet. I have an old set of Cataract 9.5's and plan to take those and a set of 9's out on the first run, to see what works best.

Are you the same Matt that worked at DRE? Been a while since I have been in there. Are those CanyonWI style scout pads you had DRE fab up and put in the rowers foot area? are they fixed or on fittings? I like the purple ano fittings.

Hey Jeff,

We had a bunch of ideas for the scout bars and settled on this for more than a few reasons. As usual, a LOT of thought went into the new rig.

Is the spreader bar directly below the flip seat bar?
