they still seem a little low, i have been undecided since i sat on the dry box.
on another note, i lived in flag for a couple years (09' and 10') I love that town. I am marrying a local gal there in september. just thought I'd throw that in there. Hopefully we get a salt permit so I can get this baby wet!

I'd put a drop bag under the seat and stash all the ammo cans in there. Nothing worse than getting thrashed out of your seat and hitting into the sharp corners of a drybox

Csteve- that looks like a lot of length for a 14' raft

Not if there is a bend in the frame for the seating area to extend over/around the strake

i think a drop bag and camp table is a great idea and probably something i should use.

I know it looks like a lot of length for a 14' boat, but i believe it will work. right now i have a smaller set up with cooler bay, fire pan holder and captain's bay with both thwarts in the boat. for this set up i will be removing the thwarts and adding a dry box and drop bag with camp table.

take into account that not everything in that sketch is proportional... like my cooler.. not that wide

Imo/experience that crowds the footspace of the passenger. But everyone is different!

I have two suggestions, first move this to a new thread so we can maintain the raft porn on this thread. Second, I'd say ditch the rower's seat or attach it to the drybox. I think it looks like you have a lot going on too for the length of a 14 foot. I don't think I could squeeze another inch into my rig. Here is the build thread, http://www.mountainbuzz.com/forums/f...mes-41322.html.
