Sweet legend! 12.5'? The 11' usually has 3 drings.... That boat will feel even more like a race car (it will handle better) if you get your seat down at bar level. My on-order 11' legend's frame is going to have the seat dropped 2" below the bar height.

No, it is an 11.' I think they come standard with 4 D rings now. Recognizing the benefits of lower center of gravity and better entry angle of the oar in the water with a lower seat, I still like the height I have. It's a standard DRE flip that I've lowered a couple of inches. Additionally, I have a standard NRS seat that I can throw on there, but it doesn't feel as comfortable to me. I like the benefit of increased visibility as well as being able to ride in comfort and sit over a dry box. I will definately try it multiple ways though. Most of the trips I plan on doing will be overnight, so the dry box is clutch.

Just waiting to fly home for its first trip! Cant wait to finally set it up and dial it in. I have been ordering parts all winter long and one more week left. Clackamas river here we come!
